The Box:

The Monthly Nail is a brand new monthly subscription for fashionistas who love to keep their manicures runway ready. The awesome team at The Monthly Nail sent me a sample box to get an idea of the type of high-end polishes available in their online shop. Each of the items was carefully packaged in bubble wrap for safe and secure shipment. Let’s check them out!

Essie Encrusted Treasures Collection – Lots of Lux
Value: USD $8.50

This polish is beyond gorgeous! Essie Lots of Lux is a vibrant blue lapis shade with pops of gold shimmer. What I love best is that the polish has a sleek matte finish, making it stand out from the other glitter polishes that are out there. The application of texture polishes can be tricky but this formula has a nice consistency.

OPI Gwen Stefani Collection – I Sing in Color
Value: USD $9.00

I’ve had my eyes on the Gwen Stefani and OPI collaboration for a while, and I was thrilled to see this polish included in the box. I Sing in Color is a deep, rich oxblood shade that has an ultra glossy creme finish. I have a slight obsession with vampy winter colors and this berry black shade is right up my alley.

Essie Encrusted Treasures Collection – On a Silver Platter
Value: USD $8.50

This bold glitter shade will give your nails some serious bling. Essie On a Silver Platter is a combination of violet holographic glitter and antique silver over a pearlescent gold polish. This is definitely the most daring of the three bottles of polish and I would probably use this as a ring finger accent color, paired with a glossy black.

Eugene Malibu Mini Trio

Indie nail polish can pack just as much punch as the brands you find in department stores. Eugene Malibu Lacquer uses only the finest micas and pigments to create eye-catching colors. Gold Digger Reloaded is a chic gold glitter shade with flecks of pink. Pimpin’ Pink is a playful bubble gum hue with subtle silver glitter highlights. Finally, Banannarama has more gold glitter than you know what to do with! It was fun testing out this trio and I was impressed by the polish quality and ease of application.

Note: Your regular subscription will always include FULL SIZE bottles of nail polish. These minis are just for testing purposes.

If these are the types of nail polish you can expect to receive from The Monthly Nail, then COUNT ME IN! I love that you get to select your colors each month and choose from different subscription packages (depending on how many full size bottles you want to receive). My favorite shade was the deliciously dark OPI Gwen Stefani Collection I Sing in Color. This preview box totally rocked and I can’t wait to share next month’s The Monthly Nail shipment with you!

What do you think of The Monthly Nail? Interested in subscribing and receiving nail polish each month? Let me know!

I am also interested in the safety of nail polishes, so can you tell the readers if dangerous chemicals have been removed? Love the colors you reviewed here.
