The Box:

I love drinking a warm cup of coffee in the morning, so I was excited to discover Atlas Coffee Club. This subscription box delivers premium farm to cup coffee from an exotic location. You can select your roast preference (light to medium, medium to dark, variety) and grind type (whole bean, ground). The October shipment contained the bag of coffee, the postcard from the featured country, and tasting notes and brewing tips. Let’s check it out…

2016 Brazilian Batch Coffee

This flavorful coffee has medium to low acidity, with notes of chocolate and hazelnut. These coffee beans are grown in Alto Paranaibi, the highest altitude growing area in Cerrado Mineiro. This coffee is processed naturally and is allowed to slow dry over time, which helps hold in its notoriously sweet and full-bodied flavor. The 12 oz. vacuum sealed bag keeps the beans nice and fresh and I love the design of the packaging.

Atlas Coffee Club is a great way to discover delicious coffee from around the world. The October shipment featured a wonderful variety of coffee from Brazil that I would have probably never otherwise discovered. The packaging is gorgeous too, which makes this subscription a wonderful gift! The cost is very reasonable and it feels good knowing that Atlas Coffee Club helps ensure ethically sustainable farming practices in the areas where it purchases beans.
